Prep Paint
We will prepare the painted surface for cutting and buffing by first giving the car a complete decontamination wash and removing any debris from the surface. We then use the required grade of sandpaper to remove orange peel and/or paint defects.
Buff and Polish
The paintwork is then buffed using a combination of lamb's wool and sponge pads with 3 stage correction process to enhance and increase gloss while removing the defects.
Waxing
A high quality wax is then applied to enhance the gloss even further and seal the surface, protecting your paint for longer.
What is cutting and buffing?
Cutting and buffing is an advanced paint correction technique that can remove or lessen the effects of deep scratches and orange peel in your car. Whether it has been freshly painted or exposed to the elements, we are here to help fix your paintwork. Cutting goes beyond a regular polish by removing a thin layer of clear coat over the whole body of the car which is then buffed up to perfection.
Cutting can remove light scratches, marks on panels, oxidisation, and previous poor polishing work.
After the cutting has been done, the surface is then buffed up which will re-gloss the surface. Wax or coating can then be used to seal the surface and protect against any future harmful exposures.
